Senior Project Manager – Data Center/Warehouse/Industrial Construction
Location: Based in Tampa, FL
Southern Search has been retained by a highly respected, employee-owned national general contractor to identify a Senior Project Manager with strong experience delivering complex industrial and data center projects
. This is a fast-track opportunity into a Director position.

- Lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout
- Develop and manage schedules, budgets, logistics plans, and scopes
- Coordinate with Superintendents, design teams, and subcontractors
- Oversee subcontractor buyout, RFIs, submittals, and design coordination
- Manage punch lists, commissioning, and turnover
- Track budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete
- Review and approve pay applications
- Manage owner and subcontractor change orders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and consultants
- Lead weekly project meetings and communicate progress clearly
- Build long-term relationships with clients and trade partners
- Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
- Champion safety, quality, and schedule adherence
- Proactively identify risks and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with contracts, codes, and project requirements
- Maintain organized, thorough project documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years managing industrial or commercial construction projects ($20M–$50M+)
- Experience with large warehouse,
data centers, mission-critical, or complex industrial projects - Strong understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with tools such as CMiC, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam
- $150,000 – $175,000 base salary
, depending on experience - Performance-based bonuses
