Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance the SOX 404 compliance framework across the Americas region
- Assess business risks and design/implement effective internal controls
- Partner with process owners to strengthen financial reporting and operational controls
- Oversee remediation efforts and implement sustainable solutions for control deficiencies
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for quarterly and annual audits
- Provide compliance training and guidance across departments
- Monitor fraud risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of the control environment
- Collaborate with global counterparts to align compliance best practices
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing SOX/compliance team
- 8+ years of progressive experience in SOX compliance, risk management, audit, or accounting
- Public Accounting background – Big 4 required
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Deep expertise in SOX 404, COSO framework, PCAOB standards, and U.S. GAAP
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional compliance initiatives
