General Purpose of JobThe Permanency Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Permanency, MDT and Family Finding teams to ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves managing resources, coordinating teams, and implementing processes to achieve optimal performance across all operational areas.

Operational LeadershipEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functionality across departments.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet operational objectives.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to control costs and optimize resource utilization.
- Lead and mentor staff to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and effective communication among teams.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address employee development needs.
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and lead change initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust processes as needed to achieve goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends to integrate innovative practices.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with organizational objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and partners.
- Address operational challenges promptly and implement solutions.
- Assess risks in operational activities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Children’s Network of Hillsborough’s standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is an in‑office based position with fieldwork requirements, that averages 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary outside of these standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet operational demands. All hours worked will be compensated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and agency policies, including applicable overtime and other compensation requirements.
TravelTravel within and outside of Hillsborough County is required. The employee must be able to drive and have reliable transportation to perform the essential functions of the position.
TrainingAll employees are required to complete fifteen (15) hours of training annually, which may be completed online or in a classroom setting. Employees who hold a credential or license relevant to their position must ensure that all training and continuing education requirements are met to maintain their credential or licensure.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position will have four direct reports who oversee four individual teams.
