Lending Transformation Program - Governance & Reporting Manager
Function background / context:
The Global Lending Operations (GLO) group provides front-to-back services across the syndicate and secondary lifecycle of loans, including onboarding, administration, documentation, accounting, and reporting. The Lending Transformation Program (LTP) is a key initiative within GLO, supporting Client’s Transformation efforts by transforming the end-to-end wholesale lending process, focusing on improved processes, controls, and technology to achieve best-in-class processing capabilities.
LTP seeks a highly energized, dynamic program governance and reporting lead with knowledge of wholesale lending (preferred) to join the Program Management and Governance Team. The role involves coordinating governance activities, status reporting, preparing materials for senior executives, and managing multiple workstream updates in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute LTP governance and reporting activities, including preparation for monthly forums and steering committees.Capture, distribute, and track minutes, actions, risks, and issues, ensuring accountability and closure.Work with leadership to prioritize activities and ensure adherence to governance policies.Establish relationships with stakeholders, workstream leads, and partner functions such as Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit.Develop understanding of program objectives, act as SME, and adapt to governance, reporting, and policy requirements.Review and challenge reporting deliverables for accuracy and clarity for senior audiences.Support and guide workstream teams and contributors.Identify opportunities to improve governance and reporting processes, driving efficiencies and enhancements.Ensure compliance with enterprise-wide project delivery standards.Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.Experience / Knowledge /
Skills:
5-8 years’ experience in project/program management within Banking or Finance preferred.Proficiency in creating insightful materials for senior management using PowerPoint and Excel.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Wholesale Lending experience preferred.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.Leadership, influencing, and organizational skills.Proactive communication style with a 'no surprises' approach.Adaptability, prioritization, and multitasking in dynamic environments.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Additional Details:
