Summary
Description:
- The Procurement Finance Manager is responsible for the implementation and continual maintenance and integrity of Refresco’s ERP system (SAP) within Procurement / Procurement Finance and for leading the transition to utilizing SAP purchasing functionality within Refresco’s business units throughout North America.
- The Procurement Finance Manager must also provide the necessary analytical support to the Senior Director of Finance Global Procurement and the Procurement team.
- The Procurement Finance Manager is responsible for establishing new, as well as maintaining/updating all Processes and Procedures specific to the Procurement Finance and Procurement teams.
- The Procurement Finance Manager is responsible for the maintenance of all Costs in SAP and to provide costing results to the Procurement Finance Team as well as FP&A teams, etc. (Monthly, Quarterly, Forecasts, Bids, AOP, etc.)
Essential Functions:
- Ensures the information in SAP is current at all times, including, but not restricted to:
- Material Master
- Standard Prices
- Planned Prices
- Purchasing Settings
- MRP Settings
- Classifications
- Material Master
- Provides reports and inquiries to Procurement team with respect to, forecasting, inventory, historical purchases or any other requirements
- Provide support to the Cost Accounting team related to standard prices
- Supports the Procurement team on continuous improvement and automation of any “manual” functions, processes, controls and systems within the Department.
- Ensures timeliness and integrity of Procurement data entered in SAP and compliance at all levels, in particular these are:
- Raw Material Items
- Standard cost file
- Invoice pricing file
- Contract file
- Quote file
- Working with IT Department, ensures that Procurement data and report requirements are met. Including coordinating requirement specs; testing and business signoffs.
- Coordinates the testing of program modifications for SAP’s as they relate to Procurement and Costing modules ensuring the specifications are comprehensive, testing scenarios are documented prior to testing and that testing is completed and signed off by the business prior to changes being implemented.
- Provides the necessary SAP training, documentation and support for Global Procurement and Procurement Finance teams at both corporate and divisional offices, including when learning new ERP functions.
- Accomplishes all duties, functional responsibilities and objectives at the lowest possible level of administrative costs and greatest efficiency by:
- Working with efficient and economical procedures
- Continually reviewing the operation to ensure that it is cost-effective
- Achieving adequate analysis and planning
