Job Description:
The J33 Battle watch Supervisor leads the USCENTCOM Battle watch Support Team, managing specialists, schedules, training, reporting, and 100% manning. The role maintains situational awareness of J3 and current operations, coordinates C2 information, supports crisis notifications, improves processes, and assists senior program leadership. This key personnel position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Leads Battle watch staff, manages schedules and training, monitors operations and communications, reports status, coordinates C2 information, supports crisis notifications, and improves processes.
- Supervises and leads the Battle watch Support Team and subordinate specialists.
- Maintains awareness of J3 activities and current operational requirements.
- Manages schedules, training requirements, and staffing coverage for Battle watch Specialists.
- Compiles daily summaries, reports, and required operational documentation.
- Monitors, assesses, and reports SOF and friendly force current operations.
- Coordinates operational status information with J33 staff and Future Operations planning cells.
- Supports crisis response, notifications, and Battle watch process improvements.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance. MA/MS in one of these Disciplines:
Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis Joint Professional Military Education Level II or Service Equivalent;
Advanced Military Education Levels (i.e. School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS); Service War Colleges). At least 5 years strategic and operational planning and analysis At least 3 years' experience in any of the following: in CENTCOM AOR; MISO; MILDEC; CWMD; ORSA; CYBER; AT/FP; SNA;
