Mead & Hunt is looking for an experienced manager to serve as their next leader for the Southeast One Water team on the West Coast of Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as the local leader of the established and successful One Water team comprised of both water resources and water/wastewater staff members. This leader will serve as the face of the department for the region, manage the west coast of Florida one water team, lead local project teams, and set strategic direction and growth for the department. Department employees in the region will report up to this person through the group's managers. Responsibilities include leading the department into the future and overseeing project execution, staff development, operational performance, and sustainable growth of the team.

We are looking for an operations-focused leader that has a strong desire to serve in a leadership capacity in addition to keeping their hands in the technical work. Mead & Hunt has a robust list of municipal clients in Florida and as the leader for the local office this professional will continue to maintain technical involvement in projects from, serving as EOR, to performing quality control/assurance, to leading project teams, and serving as a mentor and resource for staff members.

This leader will work closely with Mead & Hunt's Southeast Leadership Team to strategize growth initiatives, ensure execution excellence, support business development efforts, align resource planning, and drive staff development across Southeast One Water operations.

• 12+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering, environmental engineering or related engineering discipline
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Background in municipal water/wastewater, water resources, stormwater or related project experience is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required
