An established commercial roofing contractor with decades of trading history in its home market, now part of a private equity backed building services platform.

The work covers commercial, industrial, institutional and government facilities, spanning roof installation, reroof, repair, restoration, planned maintenance and waterproofing.

Tampa is a build out rather than a mature branch, with a territory across Tampa Bay and Central Florida and a work mix of service, reroof and new construction.

The intention is to put strong functional leadership around this seat in sales and estimating, so the General Manager runs the operation rather than personally producing in every corner of it.

The platform behind the branch is growing, and gives Tampa access to capital, shared resources and proven playbooks.

• Own the performance of the Tampa operation across sales, estimating, production and service
• Build the structure that lets the branch scale, covering systems, process, reporting and cadence
• Hire, develop and hold accountable the leadership team around you
• Drive commercial performance through pipeline, pricing, margin discipline and recurring maintenance revenue
• Hold the senior relationships with building owners, facility managers, property management companies and general contractors
• Own the numbers and manage revenue, gross margin, overhead and branch performance to budget
• Keep every job safe and OSHA compliant

• Leadership experience in commercial roofing across more than one function, covering some combination of sales, estimating, production and service
• A track record of building structure and systems, rather than carrying a branch on personal relationships alone
• Commercial credibility and genuine comfort with numbers, margin and metrics
• The appetite to build from a standing start instead of running a machine somebody else built
