Overview
Pharmaworks, a Pro Mach brand, is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join its Odessa, FL facility. The role involves producing high‑precision parts using established machine shop best practices.
Responsibilities- Produce high‑precision parts on CNC mills, preferably HAAS 3‑axis.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances in metric dimensioning.
- Edit and verify programs on the HAAS conversational control for multi‑axis parts.
- Set up parts and cutting tools accurately.
- Develop and produce fixtures when needed.
- Inspect close‑tolerance part features using gauge blocks, indicators, bore gages, and micrometers.
- Machine a variety of materials: aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and engineered plastics.
- Contribute to process improvements.
- Work occasional overtime as required.
- Handle weights up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED, associate degree, trade school training, or apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline or tool and die making.
- 2+ years operating CNC mills, preferably HAAS 3‑axis.
- Ability to read technical drawings and tolerances in metric dimensioning.
- Proficiency with HAAS conversational control for multi‑axis parts.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate setup skills.
- Experience with fixture development.
- Experience inspecting close‑tolerance parts.
- Familiarity with machining aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and engineered plastics.
- Commitment to good manufacturing practices.
