Job Title
Operates ceramic core injection molding machines to form ceramic patterns.
Job DescriptionEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may not be listed but assigned as needed:
- Core injection press and tooling preparation and operation
- Core shape making process via injection
- Dimensional and visual inspection of injected cores
- Core forging operation
- Preparing cores for thermal processing
- Rotate with the Harrop area

- Experience with injection molding is a plus

High school education or equivalent life experience and three to six months related experience or training. Ability to learn and to operate all injection machines, and perform all functions of wax injection operation to include placement of patterns in wax setters or fixtures after injection.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and work instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to record information on a daily basis. Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two and three digit numbers and to perform simple multiplication and division.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to distinguish between colors, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to recognize defects in patterns.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
Salary RangeThe salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
