  • The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

  • The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or holding your hand and arm in one position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • All core finishing operations (Die Line, Tie Bar, and Flash Removal, Repairs).
  • Core Prep operations for Wax Injection.
  • Level III – Quality Visual Inspection of product for defects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Adhering to all process documentation.
  • Operating machinery and tooling safely and efficiently.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Open-minded and willing to learn.
  • Strong team player.
  • Experience with injection molding is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compliance with internal Safety and 6S Standards.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Complete understanding of Core Finishing processes (levels I, II, and III).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school education or equivalent life experience and three to six months related experience or training. Ability to learn and operate all injection machines and perform all functions of wax injection operation, including placement of patterns in wax setters or fixtures after injection.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals; record information daily; speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English; write complete sentences; understand verbal and written instructions in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two- and three-digit numbers and to perform simple multiplication and division.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions and to solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. Visual requirements include close vision, ability to distinguish colors, depth perception, and focus adjustment to recognize defects in patterns.
