Assembler - Molding- 2nd Shift

Position Overview

An Assembler is responsible for production assembly of molded plastic parts. The role involves operating machines, following prescribed routines, reading blueprints, recording process control data, and ensuring quality.

• Operate machining equipment, select programs, change fixtures, and run machines.
• Follow work instructions, record data, and use measurement tools.
• Deburr and gauge parts as needed.
• Operate foot pedal or hand controls to secure parts on fixtures.
• Maintain systematic, repeatable assembly processes.
• Multitask, use hand tools and scaling, handle moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Stand, sit, bend, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• Use PPE and follow safety procedures.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Normal to high manual dexterity.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Qualified after training to operate machinery and use gauges.

Manufacturing area with required PPE such as safety glasses, shoes, and hearing protection. Work may involve hot temperatures, ergonomic hazards, chemicals, fumes, and potential machine hazards. Protective gear and ergonomics programs are in place.

$18.00 - $21.57 per hour.
