The Company: Work with one of the largest American owned aerospace & defense companies.
Responsibilities- Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits and subassembly units using methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
- Adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as required.
- Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
- Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices while performing job duties.
- Determine types of tests to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment.
- Assist engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Troubleshoot to the component level.
- Utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures on analog and digital circuitry.
- Require strong knowledge of solid state devices and micro-circuitry.
- Work in a dynamic production environment and produce at a high level in support of customer schedules.
- Proficient in the use of various measurement devices including digital multi‑meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency standards and signal generators.
- 1 year of direct experience with testing electronic assemblies.
- Proficient in component level troubleshooting of solid state, digital circuits.
- Able to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions.
- Flying probe/high power test experience.
- Familiarity with radar systems.
- Vibration ESS experience with both circuit card assemblies and sub assemblies.
- Thermal ESS experience with both circuit card assemblies and sub assemblies.
Radio Frequency (RF)
Typical Minimums- High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 1 year of experience.
