This role focuses on setting up and operating complex CNC machinery to produce high-tolerance, aerospace-grade components. You will work with advanced multi-spindle and multi-turret equipment, interpret and adjust CNC programs, and make precise edits to M and G codes to ensure parts meet strict quality and dimensional requirements.
Job details include:
- Must have aerospace experience and experience working with either twin turret machines or 5-axis horizontal mills
- Availability in 1st and 2nd shift
- Pay is $28 to $35
- You will be doing setups and minor edits
- Full time position with full benefits
- Managers are able to interview any day and you could start as soon as next week
Essential skills include:
- Extensive experience setting up and operating twin spindle and twin turret CNC machines.
- Proficiency operating Eurotech, Okuma, Doosan Pumas, DMG Mori, Swiss lathes, and 5-axis Matsura machines.
- Ability to set up and run mill-turn lathes with live tooling, sub-spindles, and multi-turret configurations.
- Ability to read and interpret CNC programs thoroughly at the control.
- Demonstrated skill in making direct edits to M and G codes at the machine.
- Experience performing tool changes and adjustments on complex multi-spindle and multi-turret equipment.
- Ability to read and understand CNC programs generated from Fusion, CAMWorks, Solid Works, FutureCAM, and MasterCAM.
- Proven experience working in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining tight tolerances.
Additional skills and qualifications include:
- Experience with 5-axis machining and turn-mill operations.
- Familiarity with mill-turn lathes, live tooling, sub-spindle, multi-spindle, and multi-turret setups.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize programs for quality and efficiency.
- Comfort working with a variety of CNC controls and machine brands.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education advancement classes.

Work environment:
You will work in an indoor, air-conditioned facility designed for precision manufacturing. The environment includes clean room conditions that support high-tolerance aerospace and defense machining, with modern CNC equipment such as twin spindle and twin turret machines, mill-turn lathes, live tooling, multi-spindle and multi-turret setups, Swiss lathes, and 5-axis mills including Matsura and similar platforms. The workspace emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and safety while providing access to advanced programming tools and systems.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and benefits:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
