Operator, Compounding First Shift

Position: Operator, Compounding (Tuesday - Friday:First Shift)

Shift: Tuesday - Friday / 5:00am - 3:30pm

Start Pay Range: $20.65

Objectives/Purpose of the Job:

Maintains cleanliness/readiness of compounding and pharmacy for production. Performs routine cleaning, disinfection, stocks material/supplies for the department, and provides production support.

Key Activities/Responsibilities:

* Cleans and disinfects nonsterile and aseptic manufacturing areas.

* Prepares batches of disinfecting agents for use.

* Cleans manufacturing equipment after use in production.

* Documents information correctly and timely in batch records forms and area logbooks per cGMP documentation practices.

* Stocks supplies used in the manufacturing area as needed.

* Assists Compounders with materials and batch preparation activities.

* Meets and maintains all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).

* Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.

* Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.

* Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.

* All other duties, as assigned.

Internal Qualifications/

Certifications:

* Aseptic Gowning

* CAMS

* Potent Compound Physical

* Respirator

* LOTO

* Disinfection

Qualifications/Training:

* High School diploma required.

* Mechanical aptitude preferred.

* Able to work quickly and under pressure.

* Good documentation, computer, and math skills.

* Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.

* Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.

* Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

* Ability to work different shifts/weekends as needed to maintain the production schedule.

* Ability to work with multiple departments/ management.

* Must be able to wear and use company issued personal protective equipment.

* Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or professional setting is preferred.

This position may be available in the following location:
Tampa, FL.
