Machine Operator

The Machine Operator is responsible to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.

• Performs typical machine shop and press operations.
• Read blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow all safety regulations.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.

• Work primarily in a climate‑controlled manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, and fumes with moderate noise.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
• Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, and reaching.
• PPE required may include safety glasses and gloves in designated areas of the facility.
