CNC Operator

Shift and Pay

2nd shift: 2 pm – 10 pm

3rd shift: 10 pm – 6 am

* Both shifts are Monday through Friday

$24-30/hr based on experience

We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator with experience running CNC lathe and/or mill machines
. This position is ideal for candidates who have operated machining equipment but do not have machine setup experience. The right candidate will be responsible for loading parts, monitoring machine operations, performing basic quality checks, and maintaining production standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate lathe and/or mill machines according to established procedures.
  • Load and unload materials and parts.
  • Monitor machine performance during production runs.
  • Inspect finished products using basic measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating lathe or mill machines required.
  • Setup experience is not required.
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges is a plus.
  • Ability to read work instructions and follow production procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24‑30/hr.
