Inventory Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and track materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting production teams with material needs.
Responsibilities- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and inventory records.
- Process outgoing shipments and prepare materials for delivery.
- Count, track, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Enter inventory transactions, part numbers, and quantities into inventory management systems.
- Match inventory tickets, work orders, and receiving documents to physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Organize stockroom locations and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Issue materials to production teams as needed.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Handle and manage inventory, including nuts, bolts, washers, hardware components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), electrical wires, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, soldering equipment, and electronic components.
- Experience in shipping & receiving, stockroom operations, inventory control, warehouse, or material handling.
- Proficiency with inventory tracking software, ERP systems, or materials management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with counts, tracking, and documentation.
- Ability to read and verify inventory tickets, packing slips, and work orders.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience handling electronic components, aerospace hardware, or manufacturing materials.
- UAV, aerospace, aviation, or electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in an indoor, air-conditioned production and manufacturing facility.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
