Position

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Metal Forming Setup Technician to set up, troubleshoot, and operate single station presses and press brakes used in the production of precision sheet metal components. The ideal candidate will have experience performing machine setups, reading blueprints, verifying part quality, and supporting production in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills And Knowledge
  • Perform complete setups on single station presses and press brakes.
  • Install, align, and adjust tooling for production runs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
  • Verify first‑piece quality using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot tooling and forming issues to minimize downtime.
  • Make machine adjustments to maintain part quality throughout production.
  • Work closely with engineering, tooling, and production personnel.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and report equipment issues.
