As a Material Handler, you’ll be a vital part of our manufacturing process, ensuring materials, parts, and products are managed, moved, and documented efficiently. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help maintain smooth operations on the production floor.
Responsibilities- Handle, load, and unload materials, parts, and products for the machining department.
- Pack and unpack inventory while monitoring product quality.
- Stock and count materials, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Follow work orders, complete related paperwork, and attach identifying tags or labels.
- Use machinery and tools to bundle or assemble materials as needed.
- Inspect parts visually to confirm they match customer drawings and specifications.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist assemblers with job orders and other production needs.
- Use ERP/MRP systems for material tracking; M2M experience is a plus.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking.
- Forklift certification or experience is required.
- Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies.
