Essential Job Functions- Adhere to all health and safety policies, GMPs, and wear required personal protective equipment in the warehouse or production areas.
- Ensure compliance with food quality and safety regulations, including SQF, FDA, state/city, Refresco quality policies, HACCP, allergen, and kosher requirements.
- Operate, program, and maintain batching/blending equipment, receiving and unloading tankers of bulk concentrates as needed.
- Control ingredient placement by forklift, verify against SAP and inventory parameters, and record data accurately.
- Obtain blend tank samples for laboratory testing and implement adjustments as directed by the quality department.
- Complete all required documentation for batching/blending operations and forward to QA/Blending for review.
- Maintain sanitation and cleaning of the area throughout the shift, including CIP/COP sanitation of all lines, tanks, and equipment.
- Remove empty barrels and bins from the batching/blending area to designated storage or trailers.
- Report all non‑compliance, product protection, food safety, and personal safety issues to management.
- Experience in a high‑speed beverage production environment is preferred.
- Formal training in SAP, HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and related areas is preferred.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing physical tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment.
- Strong mathematical skills for measurements and formulas.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Comprehension of production schedules and laboratory testing.
- Understanding of quality improvement, efficiency gains, and yield optimization.
- Problem‑solving skills with rapid identification and resolution of operational issues.
- Basic computer skills for operating production software and logging data.
- Ability to analyze data and process parameters to optimize production.
- Participation in safety audits and inspections.
- High School Certification.
- 1‑2 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
- Work Schedule:
Weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight, and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed. - Work Environment:
Fast‑paced production plant with moving parts, required hearing protection, and temperature variations (hot and cold). Structured and supervised.
- 0% travel anticipated.
- Stand/sit for extended periods; perform stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- Carry or lift objects up to 50 lbs; use forklift for driving.
- Climb stairs or ladders and balance on uneven surfaces.
- Perform repetitive walking and movement tasks.
