Compounder Third Shift

Compo under I (Monday-Thursday:Third Shift)

Compounding sterile finished bulk products. Key activities include performing nonsterile and aseptic compounding activities per batch record documentation, compounding Level 1 batches proficiently, documenting information correctly in batch records, CAMS, and area logbooks, reviewing and verifying batch record entries, assisting with compounding of Level 2 and 3 batches, preparing major and miscellaneous compounding equipment for use, cleaning equipment and performing rinse water testing, assisting in the sterilization of compounding equipment, performing filter integrity testing, preparing filters for sterilization, performing daily and weekly scale calibration checks, weighing materials not already preweighed and staged for the batch, cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the Non-sterile Compounding area, meeting and maintaining all required training during the year, supporting operational excellence and EHS initiatives, assuming responsibility for GMP, ISO, and EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area, attending and participating in OpEx improvement initiatives, such as reducing costs and improving OEE, and all other duties as assigned.

High school diploma required. Cleaning experience in a health care, manufacturing or other commercial setting or someone with general manufacturing experience (non-technical) preferred. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Able to work quickly and under pressure. Good documentation, computer, and math skills. Must be detail-oriented and quality-conscious. Good team-oriented and excellent communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
