Aerotek - - Responsibilities:
Fabricate and maintain structural, hydraulic, and fluid piping systems using Schedule 10 stainless steel and carbon steel pipe on launch mounts and towers;
Perform Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum structural shapes and tubing;
Cut, trim, fit, and fabricate weldments to precise dimensions using standard trade tools and flame-cutting equipment;
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations and determine appropriate weld procedures and filler materials;
Work closely with lead welders to assess proper weld procedures, rod sizes, and techniques for various materials and joint configurations
