Position Overview: Responsible for leading die team including setup, cleanup, and continuous improvement maintenance and storage.
Position Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain ink inventory, order draw downs, get approvals, order, and coordinate arrival of ink for new items.
- Approve and catalog all new tooling and coordinate said process with production schedule and release new tooling items to production.
- Work closely with scheduler and other team members to ensure materials arrive on production floor as needed for manufacturing and on time delivery.
- Catalog and maintain Mylar inventory.
- Mount print plates as needed for production.
- Check factory orders for accuracy.
- Maintain adhesive inventory and other plant supplies.
- Assist with first run integrity as needed.
- Assist Prepress as needed.
- Responsible for library of printed items:
- Making Library Cards.
- Verifying Bar Codes.
- Obtaining customer approval.
- Ordering print plates.
What it takes:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Attention to detail and ability to recognize minor discrepancies or deviation
- Basic Mechanical skills to make repairs using hand tools
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to use and read a ruler/tape-measure
- Ability to operate mobile equipment, experience operating a forklift preferred
- Willing & able to lift and/or push up to 50 lbs
- Willing & able to work overtime and weekends as needed
