Job Summary
We’re looking for a Core Assembly Operator to support wax injection, core preparation, finishing, and visual inspection activities in our Tampa manufacturing operation. In this role, you’ll help prepare and inspect aerospace components by following work instructions, using tools and equipment safely, and working closely with your team to meet quality and production standards.

Shift : 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday 9:00p-5:00a
Shift Differential : $3.00
Training :
During the training period, employees may be required to work a schedule outside of their regularly assigned shift to support hands-on learning & development. Training is typically conducted Monday-Friday and may occur on 1 st , 2 nd , or 3 rd shift based on business needs. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to their assigned shift.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform core finishing operations, including die line removal, tie bar removal, flash removal, and repairs.
- Prepare cores for wax injection.
- Complete Level III visual quality inspections to identify product defects.
- Operate machinery, tooling, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow process documentation, safety standards, and 6S expectations.
- Inspect products and processes to help ensure quality and performance.
- Record information accurately and communicate issues or concerns clearly.
- Work as part of a team to support production, quality, and safety goals.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
- 3+ months of manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or related experience preferred.
- Prior aerospace, manufacturing, or precision assembly experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Good hand dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
