Location: Tampa, FL 33626 (Westchase area)
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30am-4pm
Pay:$18-$25/HR Based on experience
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal / Brake Metal Fabricator to support daily production of custom metal components. This role requires strong fabrication skills, precise measurement, and safe operation of metal-forming equipment. Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and producing high-quality finished parts.
Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate sheet metal and brake metal components according to specifications
Operate press brakes, shears, notchers, and other metal-forming equipment
Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication layouts
Measure, cut, bend, and form metal with accuracy
Inspect finished parts for quality and correct tolerances
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Assist with material handling and staging as needed
Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines
Must have sheet metal experience
, including:Shearing metal using shearing equipment
Bending sheet metal using sheet-metal forming equipment
Excellent math skills to understand sheet-metal bending tolerances and measurements
Experience in sheet metal fabrication or brake metal work
Ability to operate press brakes and metal-forming tools
Strong measurement skills (tape measure, calipers, squares)
Ability to read fabrication drawings and cut lists
Comfortable lifting 50–75 lbs and standing for full shifts
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Precise and detail-oriented
Strong mechanical aptitude
Good communication and teamwork
Ability to work independently and meet production timelines
Problem-solver with a focus on quality
