Job Summary
We’re looking for an NDT Technician – Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) to process aerospace investment castings through the fluorescent penetrant inspection process in accordance with customer requirements, industry standards, and approved procedures. This role is responsible for preparing, processing, and routing parts while maintaining strict quality, safety, and documentation standards.

Shift : 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2:00p-10:00p
Shift Differential : $2.00
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform fluorescent penetrant processing of aerospace investment castings in accordance with approved procedures and technique sheets.
- Review routers and documentation to ensure previous operations have been completed correctly, and paperwork matches the product being processed.
- Load parts into baskets and process through the FPI production line.
- Clean, degrease, rinse, dry, develop, and post-clean castings according to customer and process requirements.
- Follow IMRS requirements to support product acceptance and rejection decisions.
- Monitor dwell times, drying cycles, and processing parameters to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize hoists and material handling equipment to safely move parts through the processing line.
- Tag and identify parts appropriately throughout the process.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Support 6S activities and perform routine cleaning and maintenance of FPI equipment and processing lines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding technical instructions and procedures.
- Ability to read and follow technique sheets, quality requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed processes.
- Ability to become certified to NAS 410 Level I Penetrant Testing (PT).
