We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manufacturing Engineer to support product development and performance across our manufacturing and distribution operations. This role plays a critical part in managing inventory, improving product quality, supporting licensing agreements, and driving growth through customer-focused enhancements and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production issues.
- Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Analyze production data, cycle times, downtime, scrap, and rework to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to improve production flow.
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process documentation, and work instructions.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring production and quality issues.
- Work with Production and Quality teams to improve processes and reduce defects.
- Support new product introduction, process changes, equipment installations, and production launches.
- Assist with tooling, fixtures, equipment, and workstation improvements.
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics and develop reports to communicate performance.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Strong understanding of lifecycle management, supply chain, and inventory dynamics
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration including engineering, marketing, and operations
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Proactive and adaptable, with strong communication and organizational skills
