The Cutter Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining cutting equipment to ensure accurate trimming, cutting, and finishing of printed materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow precise measurements and production specifications.

• Operate cutting equipment including guillotine cutters, trimmers, and related finishing machines
• Review job tickets and verify measurements, materials, and cutting instructions
• Set up machines, adjust blades, and ensure proper alignment for accurate cuts
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Maintain equipment by cleaning, sharpening, and performing basic troubleshooting
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work closely with production teams to meet deadlines and minimize waste
• Record production data and report any issues or discrepancies

• Experience as a Cutter Operator or in print/production environment preferred
• Ability to read job tickets, blueprints, and measurement specifications
• Strong math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, precision cutting)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor machine adjustments
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
