The Coordinator, PR Account Services is responsible for managing information between assigned internal clients, the Public Relations & Strategic Communications team members and the public. S/He develops and executes tactical programs, coordinates deliverables within the Public Relations & Strategic Communications department and promotes their clients' services to the intended audiences under the guidance of the strategy owners of Media, Social Media, Internal Communications and Multimedia Production.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement tactics to communicate and grow PR presence of assigned accounts.
- Create communications for promotion of special projects such as 30th anniversary, team event etc.
- Coordinate events such as Business of Biotech, Moffitt Day, Miles for Moffitt, etc.
- Foster internal and external relationships.
- Writes for multiple mediums, including internal comm., media, social media.
- Participate in community events with Moffitt partners.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field required.
- Minimum three (3) years verifiable experience in developing, rolling out and overseeing communications, special events and other devices for engaging large populations of people in a health care, community, government relations, public relations or related environment.
- Verifiable experience in dealing effectively with a variety of audiences.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Time management skills including the ability to multi-task under stress.
- Work experience in an in-house agency and/or non-profit setting.
- Proven ability to create and implement effective PR strategies for clients.
- Problem-solving approach.
