Senior Account Executive, Consumer Lifestyle
5W is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join 5W’s Consumer Lifestyle practice. The ideal individual will have worked with Consumer & Lifestyle - based clients within an agency setting, is an expert at pitching and influencer relations, and possesses superior account and time management skills. Here’sWhat You’ll Be Doing
- Create and develop media materials – press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies and backgrounders
- Develop pro-active pitch ideas for clients based on their industry, current trends and various announcements
- Drive consistent and impactful media results across your portfolio of clients
- Develop and nurture relationships with influential members of the Consumer media and industry to develop placements
- Develop and manage organic and paid influencer campaigns for both organic and paid programs
- Monitor and engage with relevant influencer social media accounts
- Contribute to strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines as needed
- Monitor media and seek out speaking opportunities for clients as “experts in their field”, as needed
- Provide strong guidance and leadership to junior-level staff
- Daily client interaction to update, report on and discuss media relations
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients
- Additional research, duties and projects as required
- S/B.A in Public Relations or related field
- 3-4 years of PR agency experience – with Consumer & Lifestyle clients preferred
- The ability to drive a robust volume of meaningful, top-tier placements
- Excellent written and verbal skills
