Social Media Specialist

Location: Tampa Bay, FL (Remote with some on-site required)

On-site requirements include but are not limited to first day orientation at our downtown office, in-person team building activities, photo days, and regular in-person content shoot days with other Wolf Pack team members . A willingness to meet in person for content days is essential to this role.

We’re looking for a creative, on-camera-confident Social Media Specialist to join our team and help our clients — and Wolf Pack itself — stand out online through scroll-stopping short-form video and engaging social content.

Job Details:

This full-time, hourly role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves being in front of the camera, and thrives on creating content. You’ll be responsible for crafting visual content across multiple platforms, performing platform algorithm and trend research, and supporting brand awareness strategies. A core part of this role is owning and growing Wolf Pack’s own social media presence, including being a frequent on-camera face for short-form video.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Wolf Pack Social Media Ownership

• Own the day-to-day execution of Wolf Pack’s own social media presence across Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, Facebook, and You Tube Shorts.
• Be the face of Wolf Pack’s short and long form video content by recording and starring in trending, educational, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Plan, script, film, and edit short-form video content (Reels, Tik Toks, Shorts) on a consistent weekly cadence.
• Coordinate and lead in-person content shoot days with other Wolf Pack team members.
• Track engagement metrics on Wolf Pack’s accounts and adjust content strategy accordingly.

2. Client Social Media Content Creation

• Create and schedule engaging content for client social media platforms (posts, Reels, carousels, stories) using Canva and Social Pilot.
• Research platform algorithms and trends to optimize content performance.
• Build effective hashtag strategies and write engaging captions tailored to each platform.
• Edit and optimize client bios and visual branding as needed.
• Track engagement metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly.
• This role will require occasional in-field content collection days.

3. Brand Strategy and Internal Marketing

• Support internal content initiatives for Wolf Pack (videos, brochures, podcast editing, etc.).
• Create brand content pieces per month using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Capcut, Kapwing, and more.
• Assist with brand development tasks such as logo design, brand kit creation, brochure design, and more.
• Track the performance of brand awareness efforts and adjust strategies based on results.

4. Client Communication and Support

• Maintain regular communication with clients via email, Google Meet, and phone calls (inbound and outbound).
• Provide best practice guidance and assist with onboarding/offboarding for social media clients.
• Create and send monthly reports with insights and recommendations by the first Friday of each month.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
• High level of comfort being on camera for front-facing short-form video — this is essential to the role.
• Willingness and availability to meet in person for content shoot days with other Wolf Pack team members.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Canva, Capcut, and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Audition).
