Employment Specialist

The Grow Group, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Florida, focused on providing Vocational Rehabilitation services. Partnering with Florida's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, we assist individuals with disabilities in finding their desired careers through personalized and quality services. This is a full-time or part-time, on-site and hybrid Employment Specialist role based in Tampa, FL, covering surrounding counties. The primary responsibilities include working directly with individuals to assess their career goals, provide support with job development, prepare resumes, coach interview skills, and connect individuals with suitable employment opportunities. The role also involves collaborating with local employers, maintaining relevant documentation, and tracking clients’ progress to ensure successful employment outcomes.

We are looking for someone that is able to help us cover Pasco County, FL

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, employers, and team members effectively
• Previous working experience as an employment specialist highly preferred
• Proficiency in job development, client assessment, and career coaching
• Organizational and administrative skills, including maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Experience with or knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation services, workforce development, or similar fields is preferred
• Proficiency in common office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and support individuals with diverse needs
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
