The RN will provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients undergoing anesthesia in our Tampa MRI and Special Procedures Unit. This role supports children and their families throughout the entire care journey, including pre-anesthesia phone calls, pre-procedure assessments and IV starts, monitoring during procedures, and post-anesthesia recovery (PACU).

The nurse partners closely with anesthesiology and procedural teams to support a variety of pediatric procedures performed under anesthesia, including MRI, lumbar punctures, bone marrow aspirates and biopsies, and auditory brainstem response testing. Strong airway management and IV skills are essential.

This position is part of a small, close-knit team that values collaboration, clear communication, flexibility, and a shared commitment to creating a calm, supportive experience for children and their families.

Tampa, FL (Bruce B Downs Blvd)

Work Hours:

24 hrs per week- schedule will be 3 x 8 hr shifts (No weekends)

Who Should Apply
  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Preferred experience in pediatric and/or Emergency
  • BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum 37.22/hour - Maximum 57.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
