Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner based in Tampa, FL. The Neonatology Nurse Practitioner will provide specialized care to neonates in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Daily responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and managing the medical care of newborns in neonatal intensive care units, monitoring patient progress, and educating families. The role also requires participation in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to evidence-based clinical practices to ensure the highest standard of care.

Qualifications
  • Experience and expertise in Nurse Practitioners and advanced clinical practices
  • Proficiency in Neonatal Intensive Care and managing critical care for neonates
  • Specialized knowledge and skills in Neonatal Nursing and Medicine
  • Strong foundation and qualifications in Nursing with a focus on neonatal care
  • Master's degree in Nursing or relevant advanced practice specialization is required
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license and Neonatal certification
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in a hospital setting
