Position Overview

Bay Care Medical Group
, a physician‑led organization, is seeking an experienced two Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our busy Cardiology practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida
. The APP will support outpatient clinic visits for General and Interventional Cardiology patients, and inpatient rounding, contributing to a collaborative and patient‑centered environment. The group currently consists of eight physicians and five APPs dedicated to providing high‑quality heart and vascular care.

• Responsibilities include stress testing, outpatient established patient/hospital follow‑up visits, and inpatient rounding.
• Exposure to high‑acuity cardiology patients and an established patient volume.
• Work with a highly collaborative team that values mentorship and professional growth.
• Weekend call coverage rotation 1 in 5 weeks, with the following Monday off.

• Required two years of experience as a provider; preferably in cardiac medicine.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple providers.
• Flexible, compassionate, and energetic with a strong team‑oriented mindset.
• Active Florida license and certification NP-C or PA-C.
  Acute Care Certification is required.
