ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, deliver nursing care following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care; assess patient status; identify and report situations requiring further intervention; formulate goal‑directed care plans; assure patient rights.
Assess and analyze the health status of patients in the assigned unit; perform complete assessments on all admitted patients within policy‑defined time frames.
Document ongoing assessments; report findings to the healthcare team.
Initiate discharge planning; formulate individualized care plans; communicate plan to the team through daily worksheets, verbal shift updates, and shift reports.
Transcribe and direct implementation of physician orders.
Conduct ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes; document effectiveness of interventions; involve patients and families in evaluation.
Provide appropriate patient assessment and care specific to the patient populations served (e.g., age groups, size, diagnosis‑based).
Demonstrate awareness of patients’ physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
Adjust care plans based on patient responses; document accurately and timely.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree of nursing (minimum).
- Florida RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a specialty unit, deemed competent.
