Position Overview

, the leading physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Neurosurgery team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida
. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a rapidly growing neurosurgery practice serving both pediatric and adult patients across the greater Tampa Bay region. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, adaptable, and compassionate with a desire to grow within a high-volume, high-acuity specialty.

Key responsibilities:

• High-acuity, hospital-based neurosurgical care
• Hospital-based rounding, consults, and OR support
• Light weekend daytime call rotation (~1:7)
• Collaboration with ICU and surgical teams
• Functioning as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality neurosurgical care.

• Board Certified PA (NCCPA) or APRN
• Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
• Neurosurgery experience strongly preferred
• Candidates with neurosurgical clinical rotations considered
• For inpatient/night roles: Acute care, surgical, or critical care experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of brain and spine pathologies
• Ability to work in a collaborative, high-acuity environment
