Neurology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Schedule: Full-time

Salary per annum: $150,000 - $200,000

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other conditions, working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care delivery.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• At least one year of experience in Neurology.
• Preferred experience documenting in EMR systems (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.)—training provided.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand, walk, or work on your feet for up to 6–8 hours per day.
