Inter Health Medical Staffing Solutions is the for‑profit staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, a Magnet‑designated teaching hospital serving a population of more than six million across a dozen counties in Florida. The position is a 13‑week contract with higher base pay and benefits for purchase, and offers opportunities for full‑time or part‑time conversion and contract extensions based on team coverage.

Under general supervision and following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Plan, implement, and document nursing assessments; identify and report situations requiring further intervention; formulate and communicate goal‑directed care plans; assure patient rights. Perform ongoing assessments, initiate discharge planning, and formulate individualized patient plans per policy/unit standards. Communicate the plan of care to the healthcare team through daily worksheets, verbal briefings, and shift reports.

Transcribe and direct the implementation of physician orders, evaluate patient outcomes, and document effectiveness of interventions. Include patients and families in the evaluation process. Provide appropriate assessment and care specific to patient populations, demonstrating awareness of physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs. Evaluate patient progress, adjust plans based on responses, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• FL RN license
• BLS, ACLS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialty unit and deemed competent to work independently
