The Infusion Center at the McKinley Outpatient Service Center in Tampa provides chemotherapy, IV infusions, blood and platelet transfusions, hydration therapy, and related nursing care for cancer patients. The Registered Nurse delivers individualized care in accordance with hospital guidelines and regulatory standards.
The RN role includes administering chemo, accessing ports, educating patients and families, and participating in quality improvement activities as part of a multidisciplinary team.
