To deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies, and the ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies. - Administering IV fluids, IV antibiotics, bladder treatments, IP treatments, and hormonal therapy injections
- Accessing ports and changing central lines
- Experience with Chemo Blood Platelets and related treatments
- Ability to administer IV fluids, IV antibiotics, bladder treatments, IP treatments, and hormonal therapy injections
- Experience accessing ports and changing central line dressings
- Chemotherapy Certification
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
- Integrate patient and family‑centered care and the quality caring factors into practice.
- Identify, document, and provide patient education based on learning needs.
- Participate in evidence‑based improvement activities related to area of practice.
- Participate in professional development based on nursing professional standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
- BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience.
- ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Florida RN License.
- BLS Certification.
- No National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) reports unless successfully appealed or self‑queried.
$36.79 - $55.17 per hour (base pay, may vary based on experience, skills, education, and internal equity).
