Overview
Travel nurse RN NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care in Tampa, Florida. 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week; nights, 12-hour shifts. Travel position with Fusion Medical Staffing.

Location: Facility in Tampa, Florida
Responsibilities- Provide specialized care to critically ill and premature neonates in a NICU setting
- Perform advanced neonatal assessments and monitor patient status
- Operate and manage NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps) and assist with procedures
- Administer medications and treatments per approved neonatal nursing techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate and support families on neonatal care and developmental needs
- Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Document conditions, responses, and plan of care; ensure compliance with hospital policies
- One year of recent experience as a neonatal intensive care RN
- Valid RN license in the relevant state
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification (RNC-NIC)
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC
- Other certifications and licenses may be required
