Overview
Clinical Nurse Manager - Complex Medicine 6A1 - (260002N5). Under supervision of the senior nurse manager or director, provides clinical and administrative support to staff providing direct/indirect care to patients on a specific unit. May deliver nursing care to patients on the assigned unit according to established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. Responsible to assist with daily clinical operations and assist with quality/safety, patient experience, and financial management of the assigned unit.
Assists in interviews and makes hiring decisions as required. Assigns work to and participates in the evaluation of the employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
- Provide clinical and administrative support to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
- Deliver direct/indirect patient care according to established standards and guidelines.
- Assist with daily clinical operations, quality and safety initiatives, patient experience, and financial management of the unit.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions as required; assign and evaluate staff performance.
- Ensure job duties align with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an RN required.
