Pool Registered Nurse-Surgical Preparation Job Number: 260002PR
Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, the individual delivers nursing care to patients. The role includes planning and implementing nursing care, documenting assessments, identifying and reporting situations requiring further intervention, formulating and communicating goal‑directed plans of care, and assuring patient rights. This position is performed in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.
Qualifications- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by Florida or Compact State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Unit‑specific certifications may be required; examples include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Stroke:
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and STABLE certification
