Job Overview
Delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, and policies. The role is based in Moffitt Cancer Center’s Cutaneous Oncology Program, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center that provides preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for skin cancer patients.
Responsibilities- Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
- Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice.
- Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on the patient’s learning needs.
- Participates in evidence‑based improvement activities related to the area of practice.
- Participates in professional development based on nursing professional standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
- Oncology experience as a registered nurse.
- Strong assessment skills.
- BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience, or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with one year of relevant experience.
- Florida RN license.
- BLS certification.

Salary Range: $34.36 – $52.20 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job‑related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among team members in similar positions.
