Travel RN - Pediatrics

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Transport position requiring helicopter and ambulance transport experience, NICU/Peds background, and a FL or compact RN license.

• Active FL or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• NICU and/or Pediatric Transport nursing experience required
• Helicopter and ambulance transport experience required — no exceptions
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Pediatric Transport unit within a 615-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
• Transport involves both helicopter and ambulance settings
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:00)
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Provide critical care transport to neonatal and pediatric patients via helicopter and ground ambulance
• Royal blue scrubs required
• No RTO during the contract; time off requests may be discussed during the interview if applicable
