APRN/ PA - Intr. I - TGH Brooksville (Finance)

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is critical for patient care across the ambulatory and inpatient settings within the Department of Neurosurgery & Brain Repair. APRNs have independent clinic sessions during the week in order to see pre-operative; post-operative; and established patients to ensure high-quality patient care across the continuum of care. APRNs support specific neurosurgeons during their clinic sessions that allow for additional patients to be scheduled within their templates.

APRNs manage hospital care of neurosurgery patients according to the protocols established with the neurosurgeons and their hospital. APRN's may assist neurosurgeons in Operating Room. This position requires graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 464 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64, or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 458 and 459 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64.
