Gia Care Inc. is accepting applications from experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for a future opportunity supporting Mac Dill Air Force Base at Tampa, Florida.
This position is being recruited in anticipation of contract award. Qualified candidates will be considered for employment upon contract award.
About the OpportunityJoin a collaborative outpatient/ambulatory care team as a Registered Nurse, delivering general nursing care to active-duty service members, retirees, and their families, with both in-person and telehealth encounters.
Schedule- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 9-hour shifts, duty hours 0730–1630
- 60-minute unpaid lunch
- Not to exceed 40 hours per week
- No on-call
- Provide general nursing care across the nursing process in an outpatient/ambulatory clinic setting
- Perform patient triage, assessments, and treatment plan support
- Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as ordered
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, preventive care, and chronic condition management
- Deliver select services via telehealth in addition to in-person care
- Document patient encounters accurately within the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with providers, case management, and other clinic staff
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual otherwise authorized to work in the United States
- Associate's Degree of Nursing
- Current, full, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
- Prior outpatient/ambulatory or primary care clinical experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain)
- Able to pass a Tier 1 (or higher) background investigation for facility and network access
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience within the last 2 years
- Experience with military or federal healthcare beneficiary populations
- Telehealth care delivery experience
- Strong patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
