The USF College of Nursing is seeking a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor to contribute primarily to the College’s research and scholarly mission.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with faculty and research teams to support the development, implementation, and dissemination of research initiatives aligned with the strategic priorities of the College of Nursing. The primary responsibilities of this position will focus on research and scholarship, including participation in ongoing research projects, development of manuscripts and presentations, contribution to grant-related activities, data analysis and dissemination of findings, and collaboration with faculty and interdisciplinary research teams.

The faculty member may also participate in limited teaching, mentoring, and service activities consistent with the needs of the College and the expectations of the Visiting Assistant Professor rank.

The primary responsibility of this position is to actively participate in research and scholarly activities within the College of Nursing. Responsibilities may include contributing to the design and implementation of research studies; supporting data collection, management, and analysis; preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals; presenting research findings at professional and scientific conferences; and participating in the development and submission of grant proposals.

The faculty member will collaborate with College of Nursing faculty and interdisciplinary research teams to advance research initiatives and contribute to the College’s scholarly productivity.

The candidate may participate in teaching activities based on the needs of the College. Responsibilities may include guest lectures, seminars, research-focused instruction, or other educational activities.
